How to extend burning man effect

How would I do this? I just want to make the effect last longer, so does anyone know how to do this? I fooled around with the descr_burning_men_effect.txt file, but I havn't the foggiest idea of what any of that means. Can some one please help me? Thanks in advance.

Inside that file go to "effect_set flaming_man_effect" and adjust the # for "play_time 3.5". I set mine to 8.
