anyway to keep HHB without y2days visual improvements.

i don't like the fact that french soldiers have shields with random keys on it and stuff.

Y2day had nothing to do with textures of units i used some (about 1/3 ) of his faction symbols and all of his brilliant menu works. The skins are burresk and some of my own (and a couple of musculusmaximus's.

I dont recall doing any french shields so i would say there burresk to remove these you will need to mod the MDB . I didnt want to remove/overwrite any skins in the game so in the mdb for these skins i refrenced a different texture set by merely adding a number to texture eg final heater_france2 remove this number and then at the start of the line change the number there to one lower eg if it said 68 it will now be 67( the number of characters in the line.

The game will then load vanillia textures for shields for france good luck and make a back up copy of the mdb a vital core file if it goes wrong game will not load

And i just told you how to do it i left vanillia skins in for people who like you who wouldnt like certain aspects of the visuals. But if your waiting for someone to do it for you , you will be waiting a long time.

Its not hard to do and as your the one who doesnt like it well enjoy changing it case closed.
