    Default Laws/Rules of Restraint

Do you have any when playing agains the AI?

Things to make the game more challenging?

    Role Playing?

Produce interesting results by doing something or not doing something ect.....

Example: I always leave an AI faction at least 1 city/castle to see if they can recover.

Or maybe you have a Law/Rule of Uninhibitedness. (Is that a real word?)

Anything goes, or if its a certain faction, your always going for the jugular.
(Yes I am looking at you Milan/Papal States)

I do believe there are a couple such topics floating around somewhere, but I think they're all dead... Anyway, I sometimes feel sorry for the AI so I always autoresolve small sieges, killing half my elite army of course but meh. But other then that, nah... Tho I do sometimes help the AI by using the console to help their pathfinding if they get stuck.

Strange, when I autoresolve small sieges (as in small garrisons) I win with few casualties... I just can't be bothered to play them out.

As much as I feel sorry for the AI, I don't want the women and the girls of my kingdom to grieve.

Except when it comes to the fanatics. Them, I don't care much about.

I try to roleplay a bit and try to follow history a little, without blitzing everyone and killing everyone

I try to focus on my factions historical enemies. After that the game loses a bit for me.

Sometimes I cheat to give other factions more money or soldiers when I feel they're being cheated out of a fair fight with either me or some other faction.

I play like the Milanese AI, draw your own conclusions.

Yes, I find it too easy to make money in this game. Therefore, it is too easy to amass large elite armies that the AI can't cope with.

I solve this problem by conducting a LOT of diplomacy, setting up regular tributes to allies (or neutrals having a hard time), gifting large sums now and then, buying maps or military access, etc. I don't have a set percentage, but I try to give a lot of my money away, though as you can see I try to do it in a way that gets me something in return (ie. improved relations).

I also restrict myself to balanced armies... no all elite units.

    - Helping underdog factions like Scotland, HRE and Byzantium (They always lose...)
    - If a faction is killing your ally, but you have good relations with that faction, attack it anyway.

Not really. I tend to exploit AI in fact.

One of my favorite. Have the garrison attack the siege army. On the field they will always face front to the castle even if they have 20 units of heavy calvary behind them.

I don't blitz the AI. But that's more because I don't like blitzing, not because I feel sorry for them.

Not reloading after losing a battle and no pausing during a battle - especially ambushes.

I try to roleplay, then forget I'm playing and end up not playing for like a week. Then I resume and forget where my RP was.

I do restrain myself, I try to think very conservatively. But it ends up backfiring, I don't expand quick enough and end up losing on good things!

Other than that, I still have a lot of fun RPing, even with my lousy memory!

lol yeh, sometimes i'll use the ad money cheat, then get my diplomat to transfer the funds to the papacy, after i've given him the levant.

i want to see the papacy become a monster and terorrize the islamic factions only to get wasted by the mongols
