    Default Buildings will not produce units...

    I have been playing the mod for M2TW, Clouds Across Europe for a few weeks now and recently tried to play one of the newly created factions, the Kwarezm. Everything works fine except that the military buildings (castles, stables, town watches, etc.) do not allow the production of units, so the faction is pretty much useless to play as or against. When I tried to play the other added factions- Swedes, Saxons, Normans, Lithuanians, and Abbasids the same problem occurred.

    For example: Town Watch

    Provides: Public order bonus due to law 5%

    (Missing completely) Allows for the recruitment of: Town Militia

    Description: Building's description

    Any idea what could be causing this and how I should go about fixing it? I've been reading the forum looking for help but I haven't found anyone else that has had this problem

    Are you able to recruit any units at all? Or literally nothing - not even militia or peasants?

    Nothing at all in most cases, the Normans and Saxons get Town Militia or peasants but that's it. The merchants, diplomats, and spies are still creatable though, its just military units.

    It could be that you are playing with RR, but I'm not sure. Is it an early campaign? I've not played this mod before, so maybe you'll have to wait for someone with experience on your game to come lend you a hand.

    Maybe you have to edit 'export_descr_buildings' file in data folder...

    Ask in the CAE forum. It's their mod.

    If you want to know how to mod it for your taste, you can ask in the Mod Workshop.

    Yeah I've been through export_descr_units, export_descr_buildings, and descr_start to see if I can find any inconsistencies but there wasn't anything obviously wrong there (though I don't know much about modding). I figured if I could narrow down where exactly to look for the problem it would be easier.

    Clouds Across Europe is a fairly old mod for Medieval 2: Total War and the modders for it don't seem to be on to respond to questions anymore on its forum, which is why I'm posting here.

    Even any pointers towards what exactly could be causing the problem would be much appreciated so then at least I know what I'm looking for.
