    Default Help Installing A Mod

    I have looked though the forum here and not been able to find the answer i am looking for. This is the first time for myself to install a mod and need help doing so. I understand each mod is different and requires different solutions to install it. Yes always back up your files before doing any changes.

    The mod in question is the Battle for Helms Deep:
    Instructions;
    * unpack the .rar archive

    * use the .exe file and install it into M2TW directory and intergrate all files
    (overwrite or automatic integration of all content in the 'mods' folder)

    * start TATW and go to 'Single Player' > 'Historical Battle'

    Folder structure as opened: mods, third age, data, world, maps, battle, custom, battle for helms deep (in this folder there are 7 files)

    Do i need some kind of install software for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Computer Specs: windows 7 (64) UL, 8gigs of ram, cpu am3 3.4 gigs quad, video card 1 gig ram.

    Thanks

    Rar files are opned with Winrar or 7zip. Both have free copies.

    If you ran the .exe in it, the files for the battle shoud be in the path you have listed. If not, you can move it there.

    For TATW, if not done already, disable the UAC.

    I have UAC disable and have told the .exe where to place the files, but nothing works. Yes i have checked the directory to make sure the files are there.

    Thanks

    Then I suggest you contact the TATW forum. They are more aware of the problems with their mods and submods.
