RS2 (RTW in general) and crossfire
I bought a brand new pc a couple of months ago.
Everything runs super smooth but for some reason RS2 has very low fps. When I play the normal RTW I have the same problem.
I find no other reason that causes this besides have 2 graphic cards in crossfire.
My system:
GIGA-BYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H
AMD Phenom II Quad 955
2 x GIGA-BYTE RADEON HD5770, 1024 mb (in crossfire)
4 gb of ram
When I play a large battle I get an average of 13 fps or so. I tried turning off crossfire but my fps is still very low. Which I find odd cause one graphic card on his own would be powerfull enough to run RTW decently.
Are their any tricks to solve this?

Re: RS2 (RTW in general) and crossfire
The game dates from 2004 so it doens't even know what dual core is let alone Quad Core. Also although your graphic card is decent there is no way that a game that old will make the most of it.
What drivers are you using? See the first post in this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=387992
Also, if you've not done so already you may want to make your exe Large Address Aware (LAA) by looking at the first two links in this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=390419

Re: RS2 (RTW in general) and crossfire
By adjusting some graphical settings the game now runs smooth besides 1 thing:
During battles my map (small one at the bottom) flashes. I keep seeing the arrows from the troops but the texture of the map becomes black (happens like 5 - 6 times every second).
Its pretty annoying, any fix for this?
