Icon8 Abandoning campaign before turn 100

i always abandon the campagin around turn 100, i jus get bored of it, whether im bored of the constant attacking or over-killing when im blitzing. or when i get tired of sitting around when turtling, or even when the empire is jsut to big to handle and i get annoyed of going through the construction of 20+ settlments eachturn. i think its just im getting bored of vannila and i need some mods, or is something else, help plz

Read this plz it's an entire list of mods for M2TW.
    My recommendations would be
    KGCM (has the vanilla taste)
SS 6.2 (Gets a bit different)
    SS 6.3 (Total Overhaul)
DLV (Total Overhaul with some RPG in it)

And Plz next time if asking for mods ask it here as there is a sticky for it here in M2 General Discussion.

ithought KGCM had XAI, so wouldnt that make ikt un-vannila taste with the hard and better AI
    SS-what do you mean different,like from 6.2 to 6.3

Well what i spoke is in complete modding sense but there are noticeable differences like how the start map looks, New strat map buildings models, color of sea etc.
KGCM as in vanilla is not entirely vanilla it is indeed tough\challenging in comparison and there is a addon for it Heroes Hordes & beyond that adds more spice to it.

While SS 6.2 6.3 differences are mainly graphical overhaul in sense of unit skins and other graphical factors. And the main thing you could say they changed in it is like 6.1, 6.2 they had two tabs in it's menu one is early and late campaign.
While is 6.3 there is only one at a time present and you have to basically launch the other with SS_setup.exe thing etc.

And another thing is i'm working on a submod for it that in SS6.3 makes the Princess recuitable and help the characters marry etc to expand family tree etc after a lot of requests about it and this submod will also allow a Princess to marry a rebel general Like El Cid for eg.

And now DLV on the other hand is something different don't wanna spoil your fun about it. The role playing in it is what i love the most.

    So to know more:-

These are the 3 pages you might wanna read the SS page was not written by me and is outdated by the other two is all you need for starters.

    Hope this helps.

I'm kind of like you. I haven't been getting up to turn 100 either lately. I've been choosing the long campaign because it gives me more freedom, but I've only completed the long campaign once. 45 settlements is a freaking lot! I mean as Hungary by the time I get 45 settlements I've taken half the map. Of course there's auto build, but I don't like doing that.

I don't think there's a Catholic nation who doesn't have a short campaign objective to destroy another Catholic faction. That kind of ruins the point of choosing a fringe Catholic faction like Spain or Hungary.

Next time, don't kill of enemies completely.

    - take their capitol
    - conquer every settlement, defeat every army, except 1 city, which you siege

    - offer vassalization (offer all your money and about 3-4 settlements to them)

This way, you will get quite some gold from them, they will act as a buffer, you don't have to manage the settlements (I usually give them all poor ones) _and the cities still count as if those were yours_
That is the only way I can play until I have 45 cities.

Suggestion 1: Don't blitz or turtle.
    Suggestion 2: Download SS
Suggestion 3: Play as a faction totally unlike any you've every played before (many people haven't played Poland for example)

6.2 has vanilla-style AI, as in they will randomly attack you.
6.3 is real SS, with more of the changes that made the mod popular.
