    Default Eliminating Siege Workshops.

Would it be possible to remove siege workshops from the game without breaking it? I'm tired of AI armies having 8 or 9 catapults/balistas and a few archers in single armies. It seems no matter how I play my game im always running into these kind of armies. A couple pieces of siege equipment in a single army is acceptable but not a whole army. I'm a fan of pitched battles and I'm very infantry/archer centric unfortunately fighting that many catapults in battle is pointless as I just charge them and the archers flee leaving the catapults to be slaughtered by my units. I'd like to be able to remove the AI ability to create siege workshops so they focus more on infantry/missile/calvary combinations and not a full army of catapults. Would it be a simple file delete or would I need a slightly more complicated mod?

Well you could make them extremely expensive to recruit, that would be easier.

lol think that would stop them from making catapults or just stop making armies until they have enough to buy them lol?

It's possible to remove siege workshops from game and but then how you anyone make siege engines or recruit them?
And for that we can set some triggers that will only allow the player not the AI to make them thus not completing eliminating them.

It's all bit complicated if haven't modded before.
Are you up for this? If so then i will move this thread to the mod workshop as this doesn't belongs here anyways.

Eh i dont use siege workshops. rams/towers/ladders are fully sufficient for me to take any city or citadel. im just tired of the AI's overuse of them.

I'm really just tryin to brathe more life into M2 before shogun 2

Make the unit recruitment replenishment rate slower. Maybe raise the cost of artillery.

I've read somewhere that vanillamod somehow fixed the AI spamming siege equipments and stays really close to the original game.
