Lag in europe campaign

I get major lag when I enter Europe but smooth sailing when im in the middle east. I think imo has to do with the trees. Any setting that I can bump down to reduce the lag?

Post your system Specs and on what resolution you play it.

Turning of shadows. Lowering the resolution of strat map etc generally helps btw.

I have a AMD Athlon II X4 630 processor, 2800 Mhz, 4 cores, logical processor

System type: x64 based PC and 4.00 GB of ram

The resolution of the campaign and in game is 1600x900

Lag can also mean low FPS count.

That's a HD resolution alright so it damn heavy and needs a good graphics card to run it effectively.
You didn't mentioned the Graphics card you have that's the culprit in your case i'm sure of it.
Rest of the rig you mentioned is alright so no problem there.

Lower the resolution to like 1440x900 for strap map and then you will see some differences. Turning of features like AA and campaign shadows & bloom effect also helps.
