    Default Multi-Player Campaigns

Brothers of the Multi-player Campaign Community, Anybody wishing to play a NTW MP Campaign can now post here, For those who haven't played it yet I can personally recommend it after having trial runned all the Campaigns with Goro.
I will say that should you embark on a MP Campaign, you and your opponent will need to sit down and discuss the rules, for example

    • Whether Battles against AI are Auto-Resolved or played Human vs Human.
    • Battle time limits.
    • Human Turn time Limits to speed the game up.
    • Unit size and Graphics settings.
    • Campaign and Battlemap Difficulty settings.

Finally there is the choice of Campaign, I will briefly summarize these campaigns and my recommendations for playing them.

    Italian Campaign

France starts in a weak position, Austria meanwhile start in V. Strong position. I would recommend this Campaign if one player is experienced in NTW (France) while a newb to NTW should play as the Strong Austrians.
I would also recommend setting all battles against AI to Human Vs Human to prevent the Austrians steam rolling the Eastern Italian Factions (Venice, Palma).

    Egyptian Campaign

France begins with V. Strong Experienced Army but a handful of settlements, The Turks while fielding inferior troops compensate with having good economy and and the Mameluks as a buffer to Napoleons Army.
This is a more balanced Campaign, the strong French army easily outclasses the Turkish forces however the Turks have the ability to throw many stacks against the French so a war of attrition is highly likely and any French Commander will have to be carefull not to throw away his experienced Europeon Troops as the Colonial troops availible in theatre are poor replacements.
Again I would recommend setting all battles against AI to Human Vs Human to give the Mameluks a chance against Human opponents.

    Grand Campaign

The classic TW Campaign encompasses the traditional Europeon map and allows the Human players to play as Great Britain, The French Empire, Prussia, Austria and Russia.
Difficult choice on starting factions as if a Human plays France they will soon find the other powers in Coalition against them, while if the players pick the other powers France will have to be dealt with.
The French start with good troops fielding the Young and Old guard, the Other factions also field Elite Units from the word go with the Brits holding Naval superiority.
My recommendations for this Campaign is to just go for it, their are that many variables on the Allies Vs France theme it always makes for a challanging Campaign, In my foray as France I was fighting Austria, Russia and Goro's Prussians, Goro took the bait got sucked into a diversionary War in the Netherlands while I made a deal with Saxony Old Boney marched through their lands and captured his Capital within 20 turns!
So as you can see anything can happen

At this time I have yet to play the Peninsula Campaign, as soon as I have I will update this thread.

Well Brothers please use this thread to organize your campaigns, or present any questions you may have
I hope this has been a help to those who would like to compete, Enjoy this unique TW experience brothers.
If you post your availibility times in this thread, others can look and then move forward with arranging the MP Campaigns if the times are good for them,

this threads purpose is to make multiplayer campaigns organised as most people may have difficulty in finding one to play. Most are locked in the game list.So here you say you want to play provide steam name to the player you would like to play with and arrange a game.

    The French Empire.
Sorry for being a historical-maniac troll.
I recently played a MP Europe campaign as Russia and I say it was a nice experience. My French opponent is better skilled in battles but I manage better in economy, allowing me to outnumber him and my AI opponents (all human controlled) by at least 2 to1. In an epic confrontation in Berlin my three Russian full stacks +1 allied Prussian stack versus two French full stacks I lost half of my army (the Prussian army was totally annihilated) but manage to destroy his last invasion army and wounded Napoleon and killed two others, Brune and Murat. MP campaign is the best way to enjoy the epic Napoleonic confrontation!

yeah napoleons army is a huge advantage in french side especially because of the artillery.i think it is a balanced campaign.you have the quality troops of the french on the one side and the numbers on the allies' side.but the ai is not so aggresive and the other player will find himself quickly threatened by french

Yep. It actually is proper multiplayer, rather than just taking turns.

if you dont like gunpowder dont buy it.But for me its a great game especially the campaign is very realistic. If you attack russia in the winter for example your troops lose men every turn because of the cold.same thing in egyptian deserts.

no its not same thing, in the desert you lose men coz of heat, not cold!
