Default Siege engines on walls and hero units.

Have you guys considered giving players the ability to put siege engines on walls during sieges? And by siege engines, I mean maybe catapults and ballistas.

I've seen a mod, it's some german one, but they figured out how to put these weapons on walls. Maybe you can implement this system so that there will be a whole new level to siege battles than the regular grind.

    EDIT: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=315422

Name of the mod is 1648 - Der dreissigjährige Krieg.

Have you also considered hero units like Kingdoms expansion has? I just thought that would be a intresting feature too.

Whatever happens, just keep up the good work!

I think the artillery on the walls is a great idea.

I don't remember specifically all the Kingdoms hero abilities are, but if we used any of them, we'd need a historical justification.

There were only a few but I'll just list 'em

    - Heart of the Lion: Immediately rallies any routing units
    - Righteousness of Faith: Briefly sets all non-routing units' morale to full
    - Light of the Faith: Briefly increases attack speed and morale of troops.
    - Byzantine Politics: Causes infighting amongst an enemy unit, essentially removing them from play until order is restored or they are attacked. It can only be used once per battle.
    - Flower of Chivalry: Briefly increases attack power and stamina of troops.

All these ablities were only available in the Crusades campaign though, but there you go. I guess depending on the character they will get these one of these abilites right?
