    Default Error 2318?

After I specified which folder to install RSII in, it gave me an "Error 2318" message, but proceeded to install anyway. I installed in my The Creative Assembly II folder, since my original Creative Assembly is the RTRPE mod.
    C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly II\Rome - Total War

    I am not using Steam

    Windows Vista

    Manufacturer: Dell
    Model: Inspiron 9400
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T500 @1.60GHz 1.60 GHz
    Memory (RAM): 2038 MB
    System Type: 32-bit Operating System

Also, while I was downloading the individual components, the RSII_setup.exe gave me a lot of trouble. Regardless of what site I tried to download it from, I got 8 of the same adware warnings that instantly pop up when I click 'save file.' My computer also makes a really loud beep noise, which im pretty sure is something that shouldn't be happening.. lol. Then, when i tried to run the 'RSII_setup.exe' file, I got even more repeated adware warnings. Is this supposed to be happening?

Try disabling your anti-virus then re-downloading the setup.exe and then try reinstalling RSII

It successfully installed. Should I reinstall it anyway? Has this error been known to cause problems in the campaign/battle gameplay?

As long as the game will run their is no need to install but it is always safer than be sorry.

Hm, seems there is a problem after all.

I selected Rome on the launcher, and clicked Play Roma Surrectum II. then I received the following messages:

If you get this error, then you've probably done something wrong. Please report the next three messages

You don't have Roma Surrectum II installed in the correct folder. (C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly II)

    Engine: RomeTW.exe, Faction campaign: -mod:play_rome

    In total: 'RomeTW.exe -modplay_rome -show_err -movie_cam'

My 'The Creative Assembly II is a copy of the 'The Creative Assembly' folder. Should I have not done this?

I edited the brigand and pirate spawn values in the 'Play_Rome' folder to 9999 so that random rebels would not spawn. Could this be causing an issue?

As for the shortcut properties, I just deleted -ne

Would reinstalling be the remedy to these issues?

Just install all the files in a new folder then copy paste them to your currently modded RSII folder

Wouldn't that just mean I installed RSII twice? What would that be changing?

EDIT: Nvm, I think i know what I did wrong. I installed RSII in The Creative Assembly II

    instead of in

The Creative Assembly II\Rome - Total War
going to try reinstalling it there now.

EDIT: Yup, that fixed everything. Thanks for your help!
