    Default installation problems with win32

    having a problem with the install, have put th right files in a folder and have got all the files, though when i try to run the installer it doesnt work, come up with this message in the attachment, please help

    it wont allow me to add the attachment, what it says is
    C program files/Activision/Rome-total war/ rome total war mod/RSII_setup.exe is not a valid win32 application

    dont know what to do from there, it says it every time i try to start the installer

    Do you have any virus checker enabled? Some of them (Norton I think is the main culprit) that either claim it is is infected (it isn't) or maybe strip the exe from it? Download without a/v enabled and try again.

    I've got Norton and could not bypass the error. Rather than switch off my Norton I just downloaded the setup from a different source and it was OK - no warnings.
