    Default How to get unique buildings

    Hi guys,
    I have tried to add unique buildings (elvish_paths) from TATW RR/RC to FRoME. The folders that I have editet are:
    1. text - export_buildings
    2. Ui - tga-files inside the folders buildings and construktion
    3. descr_strat - the citys how to add the unique building
    4. export_descr_buildings - added the unique building
    and I have got a CTD
    Are there still other folders to edit ?

    No those are the only files you require if not aiming for it to appear in battle map also.

    What does your log file say?

    incorrect entries in export_building can cause a crash
    incomplete or incorrect entries in export_descr_building can cause a crash
    incomplete or incorrect entries in descr_strat can cause a crash

    Did you check your log?

    my thinking is you probably need to establish correct incorporation!: meaning something you incorporated was missed like in the edb especially whenever doing any modding with the edb. test profusely! the error you are seeing most likely is a simple misplace of your text in this file
    good luck!

    edit:
    1. text - export_buildings (errors here can cause a Ctd)
    2. Ui - tga-files inside the folders buildings and construktion (no harm here just won`t read it)
    3. descr_strat - the citys how to add the unique building ( download geo mod add your buildings through it)
    4. export_descr_buildings - added the unique building ( this I think is where u will find your problem)

    Dear all,

    In our mod, there are some factions, for which we are making unique building trees. I have successfully coded several buildings already, but in the end, I'm stuck (as usual).
    My question is if it is possible to change the picture of the core buildings (wooden palisade, citadel, etc.) without adding a new culture for the faction? In my example, the Northern Dunedain Rangers should have different walls than the other northern_european factions (in the building tree, not on the battlefield). Is this possible to be changed or is it hardcoded?

    pretty certain is culture specific

    No Building Descriptions are possible faction wise.
