...when like happened to me before a minute - you fight with your Galaetian army against a Roman one and you already have killed a six or sevenhundreds of them on the skirmishing phase (still going) and suddenly you realise that you forgot to disable the timelimit for this one campaign and you get a "close defeat" because of the romans moving away from you when seeing your devastating infantry rushing onto them to save the day and thus come thru that 3 minutes countdown.

Not being a "save/reload when battle is lost guy" but this one the ai doesn't really deserve since it wasn't planned at all having a time limit in my campaign - so let's do it again.

:edit - wait it's getting better even more

...when having made that post and restarting + reloading the campaign + activating the script
going straight for that battle and starting the deployment phase just to realise you again forgot
    to remove the timelimit.

Well - one more restart and if i screw it again i'll promise i accept any outcome of that battle.

When you're walking down the street and think that oncoming cars are a cavalry charge and call for your fellow spearmen to help you.

When you look at people and try to guess what nation and unit they would have been in ee olde days.

When the fact that rebels and their map zones are black and no longer grey. I used to not play RS 1 altogether because that freaked me out so much, and now grey zones have the same effect on me instead.

When you can write more than one thing in a thread like this.

When you realise you've spent months talking about RS2 before it came out on the forums,
You then spent weeks talking about it after it had come out because your PC broke, but without playing it,
You replaced the HD and put RS2 on while waiting for new PC to be delivered,
You put RS2 as the only game on your brand new top notch pc that can do so much more than play RTW,
You then spent weeks playing a campaign, then restart to make an AAR

And then realise you still haven't actually played as Rome

when you're trying to write a Greek Narrative for class and keep finding yourself using as reference the current state of the world in your RSII game...seriously, the heroine in my story just got sold as a slave, purchased by a personal slave of King Attalus of Pergamon..who had just recently occupied Ephesos, the setting for the story lol

when you mourn the loss of your one good Roman general more keenly than you do the death of a family member. (okay, this hasn't happened, but i bet it would be true for many of us)
