Help!!! I have 4 Regions but no General or Family Member

Hi guys, I'm playing as the Teutonic order. Early in the game I had only 2 provinces and managed to get my two only family members killed, now (40 turns later or so) I can't bring anyone to the "family" nor recruit a general. I'm trying to bribe someone but it's not easy.

Anyone has seen such a thing? Is there a solution?

Teutonic order doesn't have a family tree nor in 6.3 you can recruit a General. The adoption thing is based entirely on the number of regions you hold, so in your case you need to expand more to get more generals.

To get a general do this, get 4-5 units of cavalry and atack a 2-3 times bigger army. Will get heroic victory and a adoption/promotin. This way teutons works.

Thanks Ishan and Golometro,
but I already know how non family tree factions work, I also know we only get 1 family member or general per settlement (I'm not such a noob

hehehe). When I had 2 provinces and 2 generals, as soon as one died i got an adoption offer, and if I conquered another settlement I got an offer as well but that was before I lost them all! I'm afraid these adoptions only occur if we have someone left to be the adopter. I believe this applies to the man of the hour event too!
And I can't recruit generals from buildings yet.

You won many heroic victories and no promotion?
One thing is sure, teutons not need any general to survive like faction.

You don't need Heroic Victories. Any kind will do.

Yeah, I had a few heroic victories, o lot of normal ones. Since I'm playing in hard difficulty it’s not one heroic triumph after another.

I've been playing this game for a long time, I'm very familiar with the mechanics of adoption, and it’s true we don’t need a heroic victory to get the man of the hour. We just need a simple victory if we are lacking in Generals.

I believe something is wrong, mine previous post explain what I think is happening

Here's a pretty easy way. Take a cheap unit, like Spear Militia or Sword Militia. Fight some rebels. Use the console to "auto_win attacker" to beat them (nobody cares about rebels anyway), and you will almost always get the Man Of The Hour screen, with the option to adopt. If that doesn't work, then you might have to try again.
