Any step by step tutorials?
Tell yourself how awesome it would be if there was a magic man that loved you. Then tell yourself about how magic man could be a neat, simple solution to many things that you don't understand. Convince yourself that everyday occurrences are messages from magic man.

Ridiculous as some of us might find belief in unprovable entities badly trolling those who do believe is not only a waste of time but rather sad.
I don't think so.Many people "find" God in certain life periods life before death or after some life changing events. And others just believe in God ,because they are schooled in religion from childhood. Many different stories how people "find" God.Maybe some people people consider religious texts as tutorials I don't know.
Step 1, assign credit of an action improperly to divine will, great actions to do this with are coincidences and moments where you are simply too ignorant to understand the reality of what happened
Step 2, define that divine will with personality traits that you and/or your personal culture find noble
Step 3, maintain those beliefs even when they become barbaric or immoral as new standards arise
Step 4, explain away inconsistencies with your belief through the use of fallacy, faith and pseudo-science
Step 5, ultimately rejoice in the ignorance that allows you to be content with the status quo
Of course you can also assign metaphorical concepts to such things rather than literal concepts which changes the steps a little.
Step 1, read a story and apply your own critical thinking skills to interpret it's meaning
Step 2, conclude if the idea is still relevant to your modern life
Step 3, utilize critical thinking to gradually come to a religious philosophy that guides you to becoming a more moral person.
Of course you can skip the pretense of religion entirely and gather meaning from your day to day interaction and your knowledge gradually coming to your own philosophy of what's right and wrong, which is what most people do anyway they just don't want to admit it.
Well i suppose you would sit outside in your backyard for about half an hour to an hour and then you'le notice that all these birds start walking around you, like 2-3 meters away and dont seem to care that a human is sitting there .I guess when that happens you know what it feels like to be part of nature. Normally as soon as you step outside or look out the window they fly away.
Google it.
Okay, I did and predictably-

Find a situation in your life you can't cope with.
Tell yourself everything's going to be okay. God loves you.

Repeat until you feel better. Don't try to actually fix the problem. Just forget about it because it's been taken care of.
Either you found God or he found you.

The fastest and easiest way as far as i know would be to strap explosives to yourself then blow yourself up. Not only will you find god but you'll receive a prize of 72 virgins.
Alternatively you could take some LSD before going to church each sunday
Finding god should be a personal experience. You don't have to conform to any standards except your own. Ignore the preachers, theistic and atheistic, and look deep inside to find your own sense of spirituality. You may believe in the Christian interpretation of god, you may develop your own, or you may find that you don't really believe in a higher power. Really it's all up to you and you alone.

That's how I arrived at atheism. It was mostly a logical internal process for me followed by some research into evidence for the divine. Unsatisfied with the results, I became atheist.
The absolute worst way to find god is to listen to everything your parents tell you. That's why I expounded self-realization as the utmost importance. Indoctrination at birth likely the biggest cause of fanaticism.

Evidence for the Divine in general, miracles, that sort of stuff. I was raised Hindu so I didn't really believe any of the Christian stuff so that was relatively easy to dismiss. There was a lack of evidence for the divine and since humans have been able to explain most things I decided to go the more practical route![]()
