    Yes it is. The birthrate algorithm depends on the amoint of regions conquered and controlled.

    is there a way we could mod this algorithm? like increasing the birthrate to at least 10%.

    Sorry, not possible. apart from a few age entries there isn't much that can be changed. It's all in the descr_campaign_db file:

    Code:
       <family_tree>
          <max_age uint="90"/>
          <max_age_for_marriage_for_male uint="75"/>
          <max_age_for_marriage_for_female uint="40"/>
          <max_age_before_death uint="105"/>
          <max_age_of_child uint="10"/>
          <old_age uint="60"/>
          <age_of_manhood uint="16"/>
          <daughters_age_of_consent uint="16"/>
          <daughters_retirement_age uint="40"/>
          <age_difference_min int="-10"/>
          <age_difference_max int="30"/>
          <parent_to_child_min_age_diff uint="12"/>
          <min_adoption_age uint="20"/>
          <max_adoption_age uint="30"/>
          <max_age_for_conception uint="50"/>
          <age_of_manhood_close uint="14"/>
          <max_number_of_children uint="4"/>
       </family_tree>
    And the max number of children is 4 - hard coded (thought you might ask)

    Also, don't accept adoptions. If you refuse them continously, you will get kids.

    In magyar mod, Hungary starts with 1 character, the king. And he also has 2 underage nephews. With refusing adoptions, the guy had like 3 or 4 kids after he passed 50...

    Weird I like to as england take the isles and just sit there for the longest time. Never affects the birthrate.

    Yeah,I'm pretty new to M2TW(played a lot of MTW back in the day) & as Scotland one time,even after conquering the 'Isles', I only had one child between Malcolm & his two sons,who were both married.

    Interesting. When I played as Scotland, even early on, my generals were having so many children that I had trouble deciding what to do with them all

    Maybe if you uninstalled any Elder Scrolls games on your computer you would get children.

    I guess since its hardcoded the best you can do is give all your FM some traits through the console (like wife is fertile)

    A bit strange that the max number is 4, since the average number of kids probably lay much higher

    But they die. Estimated death rate for kids is 30%.

    Yeah true. to make it completly realistic, they should have allowed more kids, and kill some off before they become 16. but that would be an annoying feature
