Movies with good plot twists

I know plot twists can be kind of lame but I for my part am a big fan of them, at least when they're well done. I prefer the 'something is happening -> BIG SURPRISE -> ending' storyline to the 'start -> kill bad guy -> ending' one in any case.

Anyway, does anyone know any movies with good plot twists? I for my part liked the following ones:

• The usual suspects

  When you find out that the whole story was pretty much made up.
• Memento

  When you find out that the main character is hunting his wife's killers, knowing that he has already killed them just to have a purpose in life
• Lucky Number Slevin (although this one wasn't as good as the other two)

  When you find out that the "clueless" main character has actually planned the whole thing
• Oldboy
  Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

  When you find out that the protagonist's girlfriend is actually his daughter
• Fight Club
  Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

  Finding out that the protagonist has a split personality and that Brad Pitt's character is just the alter ego of Edward Norton's
• The Sixth Sense is an obvious candidate as well

This is just off the top of my head so I have probably missed dozens of good plot twists.

I also like movies in which quite unusual or unexpected things suddenly happen, such as the death of one or several of the main characters. In my opinion that doesn't qualify as a real plot twist, though (as it usually doesn't affect the movie itself that much). Examples (all of them are pretty much from the same genre):

  When several of the main characters are killed
• The Untouchables

  Again, lots of good guys dying

That's because the movie is so damn awful that no one cares about the ending. I remember laughing out loud during many scenes.

How has no one mentioned Planet of the Apes? I mean...talk about a twist. Barton Fink has a pretty interesting twist in it too.

I can't think of anything in that movie that could be called a good plot twist. It's a decent movie I guess, I mean anything with a sex scene involving Scarlett Johansson has to be at least decent even if it's only a PG-13 sex scene.

Im pretty sure there is a pretty big plot twist around about the middle of the film. Tis one of my favourite movies as well.

Well at the start you are led to believe that the whole world is now uninhabitable more or less and that the people in those towers are the lucky ones who managed to survive. THen you find out that the world is actually fine and they are all just being harvested for their organs- that is a pretty big plot twist in my opinion.

The Others had a good plot twist. There are a few others movies... but can't think of them

Don't think the plot twist is too much but Reservoir Dogs' final bits.

Try Adaptation.

Or Being John Malkovich.

I'm still fond of the 1968 Planet of the Apes, it ends with what I still think is a really good plot twist (somewhat given away now by the DVD cover picture ).

How about Stranger than Fiction?

Or even The Number 23.

Come to think of it, Donnie Darko and The Butterfly Effect also qualify I think.
