Last time. We were here. I had just realized that despite my awesome expansion and battle skills. I was only JUST in the top five. No where near the romans and that my empire was starting to face the unfortunate side effects of fighting battles on more then one front.

SO the most important thing was to save Edessa. Because I said so dammit. I take Cade's stack of awesome and strongest force in my ENTIRE empire. It's without any kind of morale bonus's and is fighting an enemy general. This kind of fight hasn't gone well for me at all in previous updates. So with fingers crossed. I take it to the man.

This was not an easy fight actually. Unlike the recent forces battled against (that didn't have an AI garrison stack relationship with their conception) These lads fought a tough hard battle and their general was smart enough not to get himself killed quick time. But eventually Cade got to him and his back up general was already running. I took the win. Although it was only the blatent General targetting that won the battle. Their heavy infantry Ethipoian (sp?) Axmen REALLY hurt.
