It's about the rise of Facebook and the drama between the creators of it. Be warned: it's a very cynical movie about a very cynical line of work.

I'll only consider watching the movie if they portray Facebook in a bad way. Do they?

They don't really discuss facebook as much as it's founding and early development. It's the early business behind facebook, not facebook itself, although the fact that facebook becomes enormously popular incredibly quickly is a given fact that the movie uses.

See it. If only for the BJ scene.

Has a fantastic soundtrack. One of the best I've heard in recent years.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. Doesn't really put Facebook in any sort of light, it's more about the lawsuits.

    Highly recommended.

I personally feel that Zimmer is given almost more credit than he's due. He's certainly not underappreciated, put it that way.

The movie is extremely inaccurate according to the creator of Facebook himself.

So what? Any movie that is based on a factual event takes certian freedoms for sake of the drama and plot. Nothing new.

So one shouldn't take it as factually accurate, obviously. It hasn't been stated yet in this thread so I felt it was warranted. I don't see a problem with my posting that.

Honestly a film with this kind of content it could be accurate while saying its not all the same.

Didn't mean to offend, I just felt it was irrelevant. I don't think there has ever been a perfectly-accurate historical movie with drama to entice people in the event itself.

Hans Zimmer is a joke - he's been reusing the Gladiator soundtrack for the last 10 years, just tinkering with the score here and there. He doesn't try anything new.
