    Default Strange Color

I am really enjoying Medieval 2. Everything is working absolutely perfect! Except for just one small thing!

When I play a battle, no matter in what map, the vegetation is a blue color. By this I mean the rocks and the trees. Also when I zoom away from my troops they all go blue until I zoom back in again. Also the flags in castles or city's are blue.

Any clue to why this may be so? Its not that annoying but I would prefer my troops normal, and my flags seen! Thank you in advance.

Graphics card/chip. Try turning off the eyecandy and see if it goes away.

Nope, still the same. I guess its the video Card. I have a 32-bit, do I need a 64-bit?

The game is only 32bit color. No need to upgrade.

Have you tried HWmonitor to see what your temps and voltages are?

Did you get a laptop or a desktop?

To add to what irishron said - if a desktop what kind of monitor do you have? I could see how that might have an effect.

Of which can be a loose cable connection and/or need to set your monitr's colors first.

Temps are how hot certain parts of your laptop are getiing and voltages are the ones coming out of your power supply.

What kind of graphics card/chip is it and how much dedicated memory for it?

This could be part of the problem. It says up to 256mb of graphics memory. CA says 128mb minimum for integrated chips for Medieval2.
The Celeron is a low power Pentium and is not really made for this either.

I would say you are stuck.

It woeks but for color, right? If you can live with the color, leave the money in your pocket. If you want a new laptop, read the sticky at the top. I prefer my desktop.

The cpu is too slow and not enough inegrated graphics. Leave it alone.
