Crossover and patches

I already know that crossover ( emulation program for OSx and linux ) has a bug with the upgrading from the vanilla version to 1,2 ( the file is something .pack ) then i was thinking....

In rome i did a lot of custom installation with different patches of the same games, for the mods... Is it possibile to install a patch just copying in the newfolder some files instead of using the installer?

It may be the solution to all my problems ^^

Are you trying it with the download patch or the Kingdoms disc? The download patch does have Securom built into it and it does have problems with emulation software and virtual machines. You may ask Securom if there is a way around it from their end.

I've already tried with both, downloaded and from kingdoms, but there's not way to let it run.... This makes me quite obliged to use bootcamp :S

Then you think i've no possibility to upload simply copying something in the client folder? i only need to update it to 1.3

You have the same problem with 1.3 as 1.2. Can't help you beyond this. It's up to Sega support to come up with an answer since they use Securom and Securom asitis their product botching the patch.

What if i'm going to copy over files from 1.3 to the installation of 1.2?
