    Default Old And Funny Story

Ahmed bin Alhussain, known as Al mutanabi born in 915 Al Kufa, was one of the greatest arabian poets,he wrote the most known poem (it is me the horses, the night, and deserted wild sure realize and the mighty spear, sword, paper and pen do likewise) he worked for Sayef al dawla al Hamadani in Aleppo, al Mutanabi was so skimpy and love money more than anything, after few years Sayef al dawla seems not interesting in al mutanabi poems anymore so he decided to leave Aleppo heading to Egypt seeking some gifts from Kafur al Ekshadi (black skinned), so he started to write poems that praises Kafur. after 3 or 4 poems al mutanabi knew that Kafur is going to give him nothing, so he decided to leave Egypt with anger at what Kafur did to him so he wrote his famous poem about Kafur (do not buy a slave without a stick the slaves are impure ) and wrote alot of poems about egypt people, one of his poems was about Deba Bin Yazeed he offended him, in the way back to Kufa with his son and servent he met Fatek Al Asadi,Deba`s uncle, Al mutanabi knew that Fatek is coming to kill him so he wanted to run away but his servent said: aren`t you the one who said: it is me the horses, the night, and deserted wild sure realize.... and now you want to run away, Al mutanabi said: you killed me with that poem may god kill you too , so he fought Fatek and killed with his son and servent in 965.

Note:very sorry if the second poem offended anyone i do respect to all people.

So.. He wrote at least two famous poems. One while working under Sayef Al Dawla.
And that later one you mentioned after Kafu had refused to give him a steady job.
After that he wrote a poem about Deba Bin Yazeed wich insulted him, turning his familys eyes red.
On his way home to Kufa he met up with Debas uncle. At first he wanted to run away, but his servant made him fight Deba. Deba in turn killed both Al Mutanabi, his son and the servant in the fight and that's the end for one of the arab worlds greatest Poetrists..?

I just wanted to make sure i understood this story right..! Correct me if I am totally wrong in my sum up.

he wrote more than 300 poems but i took this part of his life to show you how a poem killed his writer, when he wrote a poem praising Kafur he was expecting alot of money from Kafur but he got nothing, when he wrote the first poem i mentioned he wanted to show people that he`s brave and a great poet but when he met Deba`s uncle he wanted to run away and maybe if he did he would live longer but his servent reminded him with his poem about how brave he is so he said you killed me with that poem
