so the old guard had more songs what they sang during combat.
these were the followings:
1. Chant du Départ
2. Il pleut Bergère
3. La Prise de Mantoue
4. Cadet Rouselle
5. On vas leur percer le flanc
6. Le Départ de Boulogne
7. Fanchon
8. Chant de l'Oignon
and their official song was La Marche des Grognards, and thier most beloved song was Chant de l'Oignon.

They're talking about historical, but I think the OP means the march in the game. It is a generic fife tune, most likely made using a synthetic sound producing program.

you could always use pfm and upack sounds and keep the sound file if you want it for an IPod or something
Or I could play it on piano for you and send you MP3... can't play Fife tho...![]()
The old guard tune is the same as all the other tunes isnt it? Theres only 2 tunes i think which are used for all the teams
I'm pretty sure all fife tunes in NTW are generic and universal, not specified to one unit. Because if this were true, what person in the right mind at CA wouldn't include March of the British Grenadiers for British units (which is still pretty disappointing...)?
