Default Alternative titles for Roman generals

Succesful Roman generals often earned an agnomen, a title. Pompeius received the agnomen Magnus (the Great), Scipio earned Africanus. Is it possible to do the same thing in RTW?

All my generals who fight a few or more battles gain titles, like 'the Conqueror', 'the Cunning', 'the Mad', but these are quite boring titles that non-Roman generals receive too. More diverse titles like 'Hispanicus', 'Macedonicus' or 'Sarmaticus' would be cool. For example, a quite succesful general is the first to cross the Rhine, and marches into Germany with his army. He defeats more than 4 full German stacks and/or captures four settlements: enough to give him the title 'Germanicus'.

Is this possible or is it all too hardcoded or complicated?

It is possible. I remember that Gaius Julius pulled it off when he was making Punic: Total War.

This is in vanilla already. But you have to fight something like 50 (I don't know the excat number, but it is a lot) battles against the germans to get the 'Germanicus'.
I believe there was also Africanus, were you'd have to fight 50 (I am guessing again) battles against either the Carthaganians, numidians or the egyptians.

Here is a link to a site with Roman names, they should be implented as well. IE, instead of xxx the fat, it would be xxx Crassus - "Crassus Crassa Fat; used by Claudii, Licinii, Otacilii, Veturii, and others" (Note; Crassa is the female version of the name)

I don't have any screenshots, no. But I have done both of them. I actually had a Scipio Africanus. He fouhgt countless battles against the Carthaginians and the Numidians, and that's why I am guessing 50 battles is the requirement. I don't know if there is any randomness in it or if there is other requirements thatn tons of battles. But I'm not :wub:ting you.

    EDIT:
If you've ever played The First Triumvirate, you will notice they have a somewhat similar system, where you can conquer various parts of the world and then be proclaimed "Conquer of Asia" or something like that. So it's entirely possible.
