So you are irritated but what you want to do?
Remove it? alter it in anyway what?
Come on Man we need more....![]()
Well, there is quite a few "The Wise" triggers:
Maybe if the chances were decreased and/or the first two triggers set to require GoodAdmin > 0 it'd help.Code:Trigger WiseAdministrator_add_1 WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd Condition IsFactionLeader and Trait WideTraitSet = 0 and HasAncType Academic and Trait GoodAdministrator >= 0 and Trait GoodBuilder >= 0 and Trait ExpensiveTastes = 0 Affects WiseAdministrator 1 Chance 40 ;------------------------------------------ Trigger WiseAdministrator_add_2 WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd Condition IsFactionLeader and Trait WideTraitSet = 0 and Trait GoodBuilder >= 0 and not HasAncType Academic and Trait GoodAdministrator >= 0 and Trait ExpensiveTastes = 0 Affects WiseAdministrator 1 Chance 20 ;------------------------------------------ Trigger WiseAdministrator_add_3 WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd Condition IsFactionLeader and Trait WideTraitSet = 0 and HasAncType Academic and Trait BadAdministrator = 0 and Trait ExpensiveTastes = 0 Affects WiseAdministrator 1 Chance 10 ;------------------------------------------ Trigger WiseAdministrator_add_4 WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd Condition IsFactionLeader and Trait WideTraitSet = 0 and not HasAncType Academic and Trait BadAdministrator = 0 and Trait ExpensiveTastes = 0 Affects WiseAdministrator 1 Chance 3
hahaha, it's just that i miss the titles "the wrathful", "the honourable", "the cruel", the tyrant"
i just don't want to have a dynasty that has all its ruler a wise one. its not too realistic.
remember my spanish kings in vanilla? i want to develop a similar kingdom with stainless steal.

My advice? Stop using tactics that you keep using.
It sounds like you keep doing the same strategy from ruler to ruler, and thus keep getting roughly the same traits.
I remember my first Teutonic Campaign every single ruler received "The Tyrant" due to my strategies. I was rather irritated, until I realized that I kept triggering the same things over and over again due to sacking absolutely everything in sight, or exterminating settlements if they were Pagan, etc.
Though I DO agree that there are too many triggers for "The Wise"
And why is there not a trigger for "Unwise" or "The strange?" Thinking of a few english king hahahah, I like that one gy "The Strange" ahhaahah.
actually. right after the death of the Faction leader, and the heir claims the throne. the new king gets the title "the Wise" the next turn.. i haven't done anything yet and still every faction leader gets the title "The wise" which is quite irritating. even the prince with "the lazy" title gets "the wise" title soon after he claims the throne.

King Peter the Unwise...
That's one I'd like to see.
Men in general are quick to believe that which they wish to be true. - Julius Ceasar
Actually, if you look at the triggers, "the Wise" is pretty hard to avoid, unless you're really good at making your generals get BadAdministrator and/or BadBuilder.
Is the Ødipus Complex too common? I could tune it down some.
Yup. Each number is the chance, in percent, of the trait being added if all the conditions listed are fulfilled.Do I understand this right, changing those values at the end of the triggers from 40, 20, 10, and 3 to e. g. 20, 10, 3 and 1 would lead to less wise leaders?
Pretty sure k/t is just messing with you![]()
I do get it quite often, but it doesn't really bother me.
Thank you, this will hopefully do the trick! As soon as I have enough posts to +rep, you will be the first one to be "+rep'd" by meYup. Each number is the chance, in percent, of the trait being added if all the conditions listed are fulfilled.![]()
Got the same issue here. 2/3 of my Kings get that title. (Just like the Oedipus Complex).
In my last campaigne, the sicillian heir was a cruel leader, slaughtering muslims as well as fellow christians and never took any prisoners. (and of cause, he loved his mother a bit too much). He hasn't seen citywalls from the inside ever since he turned 16, because he preferred to lay siege, not to gover a city.
Soon as he became king, he was known as "Alfredo the Wise".
Just like his father, "Michele the Wise". But he was quite the opposite of his son, a chivalrous leader and brilliant governer, who never left Tunis since the day he was born. (But just like his son, he was a little bit too close to his mother).
So, the tremendous flood of "wise rulers" I had can hardly be triggered by actions I as the player have taken, because my leaders and the actions I have taken with them were very different from each other.
