need help in hearts of iron 2

i am playing hearts of iron 2(just started playing it). i think i know 60% about the game. i will just ask some questions about the game.(i am playing as U.K and i have plenty of IC)
Q1: can i create armies in my occupied provinces like north African region? and i also want air units in those regions. i built an airbase in some province in Africa and but it is grey(how can i get planes in that airbase). can i transport air units to those regions. and i also want to say that when i try to transport infantry to african regions they do not arrive there. i dont know what happens to them. i am very low on infantry in africa. pls help me to have some infantry in far away regions like india and africa
Q2: will an AA gun stop working if there is no army(division) in that province?
Q3: what are doctrines what can i get from researching them.
Q4: how can i train paratroopers?
Q5: i have a small army in hong kong and i want to declare war on japan( all th above provinces are occupied by japan). i think it'll be dangerous to declare war in this situation. what should i do?
Additional detail about Q1: at first armies used to get to africa but i dont know what has happend to them. can they possibly be bombed by naval units of enemy. but i used to do naval combat patrol missions in sea around Malta.

A1. No, you can only 'create armies' in the British Isles, you'll have to ship them to Africa using transport ships, guard them well using your navy otherwise they'll be sunk quite easily by the Italians (If they are in the war). Same thing with air units, you'll have to fly them (Right-click, Rebase).

A3. They will make your units more effective at fighting. Land doctrines raise morale and organization, allowing your units to fight better and longer
A4. Research 'Airborne' infantry under Infantry techs
A5. You won't require many infantry units in Hong Kong to make it safe. If the Japanese don't control South China then you'll only need maybe 3 units of infantry to hold onto it.
