Download in smaller chunks

Hi, due to my university Finjan restrictions I can only download stuff at 1GB max. So I was wondering if there are downloads in smaller chunks?

Btw I posed this in another thread but I thought it should go in tech help.

Also, my uni blocks some downloading sites, but

Maybe you can try to load the torrents of the TATW installers. This are no direct downloads and would
be recognized as such big files. But i doubt that you can get a p2p downloader to run on your university
pc since you have to have access to the ports that has to be opened for the p2p download program and
to the firewall as well. But maybe there is someone here you have uploaded it somewhere already or is
willing to do so.

EDIT: I just download them - if no one is faster i upload them and post the links here in a couple of hours.

Finished downloading a while ago. Do I extract all the parts? Cause I extraced part 1 and I have the 3 files now:



Cause I can't extract one by one cause it asks if I want to replace... do I update existing files? Cause right now nothing happens if I try to run part one..

Hi again - I decided to delete the 3 files at the top and just extract all 7 parts at once. Doing it now will get back to you once it's done

Hi, again - not sure if it's working. Extracted all of them, double click on part 1, my cursor goes into "loading picture", can't click on anything else in the folder. About 5 minutes later I get a admin warning if I want to let this file proceed etc, click "allow" but then nothing happens...


EDIT: after a few times allowing it, installer popped up! Will post more events soon

You just have to unpack one of the archieves - they are parts and that means they automatically are connected.
Just right-click on the part1 archieve and "Extract here" - done. The three files you are talking about are the original
installer files from King Kong - just install Part 1 than Part 2 and than the Patch 2.1 and you are good to go.

(btw - dont forget to update your Kingdoms Version to 1.05 if you havent already!)

It's installing now does that mean it's already updated? I'm running on steam, I think it automatically updates it (that's what it is set to at least!).

You my good friend are a legend. Downloading now at an incredible speed (no wonder uni put a 1GB limit, part 1 done in about a minute!). Btw is that including the patch? I think I can download that normally
