    who the heck cares who or what the heck he did or said, it's in the past already, he's apologised for his stupid comments and that ought to be the end of that;
    his golddigger of an ex wife (the russian one) can talk all she wants, but why the hell should Gibson be blacklisted from the entertainment industry in Hollywood?
    the guy's definitely got talent and it's not like he pulled a Roman Polanski;

    i'm just so sick of this witch hunt and demonisation of Mel Gibson, enoguh's enough already, especially after he got pulled from 'the hangover 2' cuz some netizens couldnt let go of the past.

    it doesnt make Braveheart, or Lethal Weapon or Hamlet (1990) any less than the masterpieces that they are; the more we persist in hating on, vilifying, denying Gibson film opportunities, the more we deny ourselves his talent.

    comments?

    Don't think anyone is discrediting what he has done. You can say what you want but his own actions brought his career down, nobody set out to hurt his career.

    have you watched his latter clusters?

    He might be an okayish actor but as movie maker the only thing worthwhile was Braveheart!

    Other than that: no, we do not have to ignore his psychotic breakdowns as a raving lunatic because he played a couple of good roles decades ago!
    "Sebaceans once had a god called Djancaz-Bru. Six worlds prayed to her. They built her temples, conquered planets. And yet one day she rose up and destroyed all six worlds. And when the last warrior was dying, he said, 'We gave you everything, why did you destroy us?' And she looked down upon him and she whispered, 'Because I can.' "

    yes. great music. dialougs were exellent. accents of the actors fits well. but believe me if they did it like the real wiliam wallace story it was much better. not less entreiteing at all. the real battle of stirilng was much more then just people charge in a big field into another. wallace really had a good tactic. from what i readed the schiltorm formation charged into the horses crosing the bridge and not the opposite. the english werent so stupid to do it but they did thought that the scots will let them pass due the cheiverly code.

    and wallace was a noble. that means. full armor plate. on a heavy horse probaly with a lancer. in the movie they portraid him as just a normal soldier that also commands.

    but i think gibson learend his lesson in his next movies. the passion of the christ was exremily acruatte. also apocalipto. and the fact that they spoke ancient native langagues there really helped it.

    This one.

    Braveheart was decent, Apocalypto was OK, the rest is garbage. The Patriot actually gave my goose bumps out of embarassment.

    Yea, the information age is a pain in the keester if you're a celebrity. Its makes being normal a cake walk. As a matter of fact, I came across a 2-hour special on VH1 all about 'celebrity cheaters' and how much money the tabloids make, and how much they stand to lose if they dont keep some sort of dirt or scandal going 24/7 with 'coverage'. Mel is no exception obviously. Just another perp in the hit parade.

    All in all, I could care less what the guy says.
