    Default Tiny unit sizes.

    Faction:Rohan

    Infantry:76
    Cavalry:38
    Generals bodyguard:18
    Faction leaders bodyguard:24

This is tiny and how am I to have epic LOTR battles with such small units, I would prefer...
    Infantry:200
    Cavalry:100

The bodyguards are good but maybe 45 so I can use them effectively if necessary.

So does anyone know how to make the sizes bigger.

Play on larger unit sizes? Or do you not know how to do that?

That, found under options of course. Also, be aware that larger unit sizes is more taxing on performance so, I wouldn't recommend going with huge unit sizes unless your pc can handle it.

    150 for infantry and bowmen,
    76 for cavalry,
    38 for bodyguards,
faction leader bodyguards depend on authority (I think, in any case on the traits).

Elves and some few elite units have these sizes:
    120 for infantry and bowmen
    60 for cavalry.

Most orcish infantry units have 250 orcs each.

EDIT: Elite orc infantry 200, infantry bodyguards 76, trolls 12.

Or edit them in the files directly, i've given Rohan about 150 per cavarly size and Goblin heavy infantry have 250 in numbers. My way of balancing out the game

Waaait, how did you make te cavalry sizes for Rohan bigger? That would be a neat way to give them a boost...

Those are good sizes,my laptop could handle those sort of sizes on empire so should be good.

I simply give 200 to elites, 240 to normals/missile and 120 to cavalry. I keep the trolls where they are.

I have to play with normal unit sizes for my weak computer, but with about 80 something infantry, I get 38 or so calvary playing as Rhun....unacceptable. Often my fights are to the last man/win by 13 units. Anyway to boost calvary size w/o changing the 80 or so unit size?

I don't set the size more than large cause there's is not much space on the walls if you use huge. And sometimes there can be problems if too many units try to use one siege tower due to collision calculation.

I second this! + pathfinding and formation setting don't really work that well in settlements if you're using huge (not that those thing would work too good smaller unit size for that matter...)

I've found that out! Didn't even realise the units were set to huge (I hadn't changed them) and now am stuck with them in my campaign. The pathfinding is terrible. Or rather, it was always terrible but now it is much more obvious. Plus half the unit runs while the other half strolls. Plus I've had the trouble of having the AI try and send an entire army up a single siege tower. 1 fps ftw!

Totally agree... Found this gem out the hard way after playing many hours of MTW2. Large seems to work fine, but huge gets you into all kinds of pathfinding headaches.

I've experienced the same, but I still would never go below huge
Battles get just to tiny for my taste.

Just because u can max out Empire without no lag doesn't mean u can for M2TW. The problem is M2TW has horrible CPU Management, so even if u have a Quad core, it will still lag. Empire Doesn't have this issue as it ultilizes more than 1 CPU Much better than Medieval does.
