Okay, well this has been in the making for awhile, but I finally decided to make a thread for it.

The mod will start in the mid-500's and feature the Romano-British, Saxons, Angles, Jutes, Picts, Scotti, and a few other Celtic Tribes. Also there will be some Franks in northern France, but they will be unplayable, and not have ships, thus they wont invade England..

Unit speeds will be much faster and there will be the four-turn a year script.

I have started RE-doing the map, as I made it slightly bigger, and the mountains are much more distinct now.

This sounds like an excellent concept. I must admit, I've been waiting a while for something like this (if you can get it done). Though perhaps a more Medieval focus might be better? I'd quite like the ability to take Robert the Bruce and smash up some of the English, or from an earlier period to try and defeat William the Conqueror as Harold Godwinsson.

EDIT: In fact, the scope and area of the map would make a Norman invasion absolutely perfect.

well, the thing is, with A late roman(late Roman0-Britsih to be exact), I can hopefully get units from other mods. If not I can do skinning, but the main feature of this mod will be the map, which will have extensive work.

About 50 provinces in Ireland
100 in britian
and 20 in France.

And I would really love a norman invasion mod, but I cant really do much about the units so...
