    Default Attacking

I attacked a fort with a garnison and when i captured the gates the hot oil was still pouring on the heads of my men.
And i could not use the general and other cal units because of that.

Is this a bug or is it a DLV?

One other thing am playing with the Kilikioh haikakn faction (the ortodox faction at little asia he has only 1 town) and my in game unit textures are pretty much all rather lifeless.
Just a shades of gray with a little color or stripes.
I was wondering is posibile to get textures like in the vanila MTW2, full color and stuff.

    Everything else is pure 10!
I`m a big fan of this mod.

    So no hard filings a...

    1. Sine DLV 3.5, never have I heard of what you desribe.

    2. IIRC, Chansons de Geste, will probably solve this issue by adding Broken Crecent units. There was also another description I read which gave me the spookes [Of the mini mod's description] In the Common tongue it says:

One mod to rule them all, One mod to find them, One mod to bring them all, and in the addiction bind them."

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Ugh, unfortunately not at the moment, Sivil. I have no plans to incorporate any of BC's Armenia units in the near future, but I'll certainly put it on my (far-off) To Do list.

As for the weird boiling oil still falling when you have 'control' of the gatehouse, I think I've read that as long as the enemy has troops NEAR the gatehouse, they can still use boiling oil on you. Something to do with how the game tracks/marks the location of the troops; i.e., you might 'control' the gatehouse well enough to open the gates for your troops, but the enemy has troops up top still pitching the oil overboard. Undoubtedly, this probably did occur in real-life, as castles and fortifications in general were designed to have redundancies and fall-backs positions. Invading troops could reach the gates and open them, but not reach the locked towers above them.

I know, I know, you have men going through there and in complete control of the gatehouse; you just need to drive the enemy troops further back from the gatehouse.

IWe kept part of the wall above the gate, and one of the walls of the gate they were held.
I think that even in the vanilla version, there was no such problem in the siege.
But either way this is still a very well done mod.
And it would be nice if the texture unit embellished with multiple colors like this are all similar to each other.
