Campaign problem

I have a problem with trying to load Campaign. I click on New Campaign and it says its select on list or something like that but nothing appears. Upon exiting the game theres a pop up that says ' Script Error in data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, at line 31, column 1. Expected start date of campaign or battle'
whats this mean and what do I do to fix it so I may be able to start a new compaign?

Normally that means you have installed RTRPE over an older version of RTW(v1.3 for example). You need RTW fully patched to v1.5 before you install RTRPE. In game, in the Options menu you can see the version you have, noted on the upper right corner of the screen.

where do you update the game?

You download the official rtw patches and apply them. Hopefully they`re still hosted on the tw official site. Somewhere..
