    Default weird unit sizes

    Hey guys. Just got back from Italy and wanted to play some SS on my new build. Started a campaign after installing patch 1.5, 6.3 and then the latest MSC mod and patch. Now playing as siciily muslim archers max out at 61 as to sergant spearman as well as others. Should I just re-install everything?

    What exactly is weird about that? Switching unit sizes in the options no longer working?

    Looks like a specific faction dieing is causing it. Prevent that faction from dieing and it shouldn't crash.

    Just started playing a late era campaign

    HRE
    with meneths (current)
    savage ai
    MH/LLP
    watchtowers
    longer assimilation

    I can't get the game past turn 5 - always CTD's on the Papacy's turn - I'm at peace, but not reconciled.

    I thought the compilation topic would list MH and LLP as incompatible... on second thought I'm damn sure of it.

    MH and LLP for the late campaign isn't compatible, use the merged version included in the Compilation
    MH late is incompatible with BGR and Permanent Watchtowers (it's included, though)
    MH (both versions) is incompatible with Alberi di Famiglia Regal
    LLP is incompatible with Alberi di Famiglia Regal and BGR
    LLP is incompatible with Permanent Watchtowers, but it's included
    Istanople is incompatible with Fair Prince's titles and faction names sub-mod
    NHA is incompatible with BGR
    Are you using the merged version?

    SS6.3+MSC3.2, early campaign, 1TPY, no BGY
    at the end of turn 125, when going through Seljuk Sultanate, the game stopped there and no way to continue. the only thing i can do is alt+tab and close the game. nth new in system.log

    Sounds like a faction dying CTD. Find out which faction's turn it CTDs during, then prevent that faction from dying.

    You're using an old version of the Compilation, it seems. "Unrecognised: 'capital' as a region resource class (or hidden resource)" was fixed a while ago.

    i dnload the "3.2.x patch" and problem solved。
    but the "capital" still there. do i need to rerun the setup.exe? i m afraid it'll ruin my saved data.

    ok so I have a problem yet again....

    I start out a campaign with -200k money by next turn it is -4.7 million!!!

    it is early era england campaign on turn 1.... with mods savage AI, BGR, Istanople, long and prosper, longer assimilation and next heir crown.

    what do I do now?

    LLP and BGR are incompatible. Disable one of them.

    ok so I was too quick to be optimistic. the game crashed once after the mini-map got bugged and again the game just freezed completely. no other mods here.

    Use the template in the OP. Then I might be able to help.
    Though that might be one of the known bugs in SS, and M2 in general. If so, it's most likely a memory issue. How much RAM do you have?
    Freeing some RAM might reduce the occurrence of that bug, and so might reducing the graphics.

    exactly the same as my above post except with LLP disabled minimap bug then CTD, graphics bug then freeze, doesnt take too long to happen (turn 2 or 3)

    i have 6 gb DDR3 which should be more than enough for any game...
