Chat Bug in lobby and in game

it seems as if my army setup chat is definitely muted and possibly my lobby chat too.

any remedy for this?

Are you banned from chat by Gamespy? they have not done such a thing for a very long time so i doubt this. i see no other explanation though.

Hmm... when you press "T" in game, does it go straight to the talk bar where you type your message, or does it list a few options such as talk to all players, talk to a specific opponent, team mate, etc.

I've got a chat problem in game on RS2, and it doesn't give me the option to select who I'm talking to.

specifically, the problems (as far as i can tell) occur when i host a game
i enter my "chat" and it appears on my screen as the blue, setup chat; however, no one responds to it-- for example, i'll state rules (no art no ele 6 max cav) and rest of the players will continue to ask rules

hmm, this happened to me once, except i couldnt see the other persons text. I was getting mad since he wasnt telling me if he knew what CWB was, and then he started responding saying he already had said yes.

I have never seen that happen. then again empr guy is in the HELL clan so that means that your problem is probably Gamespy itself.

I was banned about 2 years ago... i sadly think i was the only person ever to be muted

so they do it

the only thing i have said recently was a reply to someone in lobby chat asking what GS was...

i told the person that .. "gs is an online venereal disease..."

however, i have noticed that games are really lagging out frequently and that i have these "chat" issues shortly before i get dc'd

Actually back when RTW was new they did it a lot. The sith rules on behaviour were primarily written to avoid the loss of men. we won a lot of clanwars because half of the enemy clans were one hit KO'd by the bans of 2005.

Well there you have it. connection fail by either y ou or GS is the reason.
