'Resolution' problem (monitor): stretched display of menu's and texts
Hi guys,
I recently bought a new desktop computer and I am having some 'resolution' problems with MTW2:Kingdoms. Although the on-screen battle map and campaign map resolutions on my Widescreen monitor are more than ok (at the highest and lower resolutions) and are corresponding with my settings (meaning I have beautiful terrain, units, models and so forth), the in-game menus at the bottom of the screen (at which unit cards etc are displayed) and display texts (messages, but also town and unit nametags) are not. Instead, they are stretched, larger (meaning out of proportion compared to the units/terrain/etc) and appear to be in a (much) low(er) resolution. It seems as if only the models/terrain comply to resolution changes, while the texts/strings on the campaign map/information screens/buttons/etc are (too) big, ugly and of very low quality (i.e. 'pixel-like').
Does anyone know how to fix this (if it is fixable)?
Kind regards,
UA (who will try to post screenshots in the near future)

The piece across the bottom of the screen is the ui and it is one-size-fits-all resolution and there is no fix.

I was afraid of this... Same goes for the text messages and strings on screen?

Thank you. The only option for me is to adjust the aspect-ratio of my monitor (to 4:3); do you know, by any chance, a way of doing this for this game only (besides adjusting the monitor settings)?

Okey, thanks. When I know the solution, I will post it here.
Thank you for your help
