savegames are gone

They dissapeared, well all my savegames that i didn't transfer from my old pc (xp) to this one (win 7). I started the game, and only my old england savegame was there, all the other don't appear, and they are also not in the map of savegames.

This morning they were still ther ein the load-menu. only thing that is different is that i diasbled the UAC, and used the music extractor for the music of MEII

I found them by searching for the name, and they are in some appdate map. How come they dissapeared?

Win 7 security puts anything it deems not for your eyes hidden in appdata. There are ways to beat it at its own game. With the UAC off and files and folders unhid, you will find many more files.

Yeah i know that there are many hidden files, its just i don't understand why they shifted the savegames all of a audden.

anyway it seems that now they are being saved at the proper place

I disabled the damn thing before I installed the game and I have none of it in appdata. Good luck on your campaign.
