Default George W. Bush writes his memoirs

Decision Points by George W. Bush

Rather than being a chronological narrative of his administration, he will reflect on twelve individual decisions he regards as particularly important. I personally consider him to be one of our worst presidents since James Buchanan but I actually might get this when it comes out November 9th. It would be interesting to see what he has to say.
    Here's his youtube video:

"I remained alive even after committing much crimes against humanity than Saddam Husein". G.W. Bush
(A sentence which would not be in the book but in his mind).
"I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him - the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today." 'The Genuine Islam,' Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936.Sir George Bernard Shaw

Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Yes he writes, this is what every head does after ruining his nation or other nations, thinking that he has done a great job for his people and humanity and he is a hero, just like that bastard Musharraf.

No indication of a co-author on this one. Interesting timing, comes out one week after the mid-terms.

It's not how many people are smart enough to go to Yale. It's how many people are smart enough to graduate.

As for me, I will likely buy the book. I'm interested in what he has to say, since I spent eight years defending him (and still am). I did read about the book at the Drudge Report, however, and noted with pride that he hasn't attacked Obama. Now, if we can only get Jimmy Carter to sign on to an ancient American tradition among former Presidents ...

Bush was the best president we've had since... JFK.

Obama: Is going to lead us to ruin (unless somehow he doesn't)
Bush JR: Did a decent job.
Clinton: Awful, unfortunately he's so charming nothing can touch him
Bush Sr: Not too bad but nothing impressive.
Reagan: Unfit to lead. Nice guy I'm sure but so much incompetent happened during his administration.
    Carter: Is a clown.
    Ford: Not a real president.
Nixon: Actually pretty effective but sunk himself pretty badly.
    Johnson: Ambiguous at best.
    JFK: The man.

Yeah. I can't think of anything he did that was blatantly stupid policy wise. It may not have worked out perfectly but there was nothing that struck me as "this is going to be the end of us." Throw me a topic to defend. He wasn't a great speaker. He wasn't' a fool.
