Could anyone tell me what triggers the Minion trait and their associated/worse traits.
It was good foor a laugh when my Heir preferred the company of men, but nearly 50 turns later half my generals have gotten a little to curious for my liking.

I think it is unused movement points / adopting sons, basically take your governors for a walk out of a town and back will use up some movement points and reduce the chances of this and other nasty traits + keeping your finances below 50,000 also helps
Sounds likely, all the generals that have acquired that trait have pretty much been Governors for a long time, and my heir never left the capital... ever![]()
Traits in total war games espicially RTW always make me laugh how about catamite lol
Keeping out of cities also help prevent corruption traits from forming, which also become prevalent after you gather 50K dinarii as well.
I prefer "Not safe around man or beast" myself.Traits in total war games espicially RTW always make me laugh how about catamite lol
What is certain, is that you have 2% to get 'minion' (and other levels) if you are at the end of the turn (with 100% movement points) in a city with a temple of fun.
Temple of fun is: Bacchus, Anahit, Osiris, Dionysis
