Problems that you will need to solve:
World editor : That means new buildings in the battlemap.
Animations : New animation are required ,although there are some mods that could lent you theirs but they are still in an early development.
Finding a devoted team.
That means that finding a modeler or a skiner or a coder ar anything else you must be some kind of sure that they will stay in the mod.
People come and go all the time in the modding teams.
Clear goals.
That means that you will have a clear view of what you are trying to create.
That way you wont have long time discusions on how large the map will be ,which factions they will be in.
Unforthunatly even if you will have a clear plan there are two factors that you will come across.
1st: We do not know everything .That means that we might be forced to change our plans if someone will provide infos that change our point of view.
2nd: Having an idea (a dream) does not mean that others see the same project the same way you do.
Modding is most of all a big compromise.

TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
read this to avoid misunderstandings.

I like the idea a lot. But.... I would say extend the map to the north and bring the map above Africa. Scania (Scandinavia) was part of Germania and you could have at least one or two tribes in Scania![]()
Yes, add a part of Scandinavia. And when exactly is your mod's timespan? I hope not in the period that the Imperium Romanum was at it's mightiest![]()
