How to install BB2.8 and DLV with steam ?

after searching the forum, it seems that the way to use DLV on steam is to install to the mods folder and rename the DLV ext folder to an existing Kingdoms folder (and rename that folder as well). My question is how to correctly install BB2.8? The general install is simple, just extract the DLV ext folder to the mods folder which I would assume then rewrites over the existing DLV folder. However, if using the steam method that is no longer the correct folder. So do I need to extract the BB2.8 DLV into the renamed Kingdoms folder that is now actually DLV ?

Also I saw a couple posts about autosave crashes while using steam, is the correct way to resolve this issue changing the preferences file to autosave=0, eventhough that eliminates all autosaves?

Probably best to ask in Taiji's BB thread. But from what I know, you might need to extract BB 2.8 to a separate, outside folder, then copy the 'data' folder into your renamed mod folder. I think BB uses the DLV_ext folder name, so it would probably appear alongside your renamed folder, rather than into it. Its a big folder, but not that extracting it into your Documents or Download folder, then copying/cutting into your renamed folder would be a hassle.

Thanks Taiji, I finally found that exact post late last night. I had done a number of searches before that, but couldn't find the exact answer I wanted. The install of DLV is very simple, I did that last night and it fired right up. Now that I know that BB is a cut and paste install I will do that later today.
