Roman desrters and HB guard

Is possible to get a unit of roman deserters in the campaign or they are only for the custom battle?
The same question for Hamilcar Barca guard, Will HB apears in the campaign?

First I wanted to find it out by myself but I was to unpatient

You can get the roman deserters in Latin as merc units

The HB unit is a remnant of TIC I believe. I don't think it is any different except perhaps in stats to the normal general.

Yes the stats are little bit higher. I hoped that maybe he appears on the campaign map in some year as a scripted event

No. The original idea was that a unit of deserters would appear at the capital/nearest settlement whenever Rome was defeated in a Heroic Victory.

Unfortunately, this was not possible. Now I think they are occasional mercs
