    Default Camelry

Will EB II introduce camelry? I know there's been a disscusion going on for ages about adding them or not, but in my recent research on Palmyra I've stumbled across some inscriptions mentioning an Ala of dromedariorum. I figure that when Romans did use them as auxilia forced the nomadic tribes of the desert frontier certainly did. I know it's beyond the timeframe of EB, but it would seem unreasonable to suggest it's an 'invention' from after the EB timeframe.
With this discovery I'd like to make a plead for the inclusion of the camels, at least in the form of mounted archers, maybe as a AOR unit for the desert frontier.
    All reactions are welcome.

Actually if you search these forums for camelry... this is the only thread that comes up.
And nothing but random mentions come up about camel, so that's not very helpful.

People coming here to learn about EB II will not find anything. Some of you may be hip to other forums or EB for RTW, an ancient game for an ancient engine in gaming years, but the rest of us are not.

So how much more definitive an answer do you want to have?

Probably because "Camelry" isn't exactly an established term

I always feel like a fathead when quoting myself:

However certain more nomadic peoples living in Arabia at the time did use them Especially the tribes living on the western incense routes a long the Red Sea. Either way in EB they were planned as a regional unit of low priority but at the end didn't make it. In EB II they will probably be featured however as regional, not that they are of highest priority this time but neither of low priority, as for the aforementioned region they were of importance.
Can't say more than this really...
