Should I use this mod?

DLV seems to add a lot of things to the game that I would like to have. My questions is if anyone could recommend that I try it now or get some more experience playing the game first. I am playing unmodded Kingdoms. I am on turn 80 of my first campaign in M2TW, playing as England, and have not tried a Kingdoms campaign. I am playing an lower level difficulty dont remember the designation, medium or easy perhaps. I would say my play style is slow, I have not conquered much and tend to play with more historical borders in mind rather than trying to take over all of Europe. I want a more realistic feel to the campaign with more challenges on the home front just to keep the empire strong (civil wars/rebellions etc) as was pretty common IRL. I don't get to play often, maybe once or twice a week so although I would like to try a Kingdoms campaign before moving up to DLV, at my pace it might be a year before I actually complete it hehe! Obviously I still have a lot to learn just about the vanilla version and how to really play the game well. Anyway, the mod looks great.Thanks for any help/advice. Oh, one more thing... I am playing on Steam so if that changes anything let me know.

DVL is greatest non-fantasty mod ( i love CoW mod) but it's hard ... much harder than vanilla mtw2 - but also it gives much more fun and it's mega realistic and even there are Roleplaying in this mod! love to play as Crushader states and act like in ''heven kingdom'' i think crushader states in historical campany are the most difficult faction to play ;].

If I normally play vanilla at H/H what do you recommend I play DLV on? Thanks!

If u play historical campaning (costum campaning) and choose some powerfull faction as england or france,russians,egypt and those big and strong countries -h/h if you're about to play some small and weaker factions i prefer to play M/M wihound the building/military points -other scripts on.

I did read many Books while playing DVL - waiting for my turn is 30 sec or even 1 min in later campaning .
