Downloading Patches

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the initial downloading of patches. I've got Rome TW Gold Edition bought in 2006. To download RTR Platinum Edition 1.9 it instructs you to download RTW patch 1.3. When I try to install I get the message "No prior intallsation of Rome Total War was found."

Any suggestions?

first: go to options on rtw and look att the upper right corner of the screen

secound: check if it dose'nt need BI to download

third: have you got it on steam? cuase i hear it can cause problems

fourth:ASK THEM ATT THE DOWNLOADING AREA

First .. if you have RTW Gold Edition on a single DVD you should have RTW fully patched. In which case you don`t need any other patches prior to installing RTRPE(the mod switch version of RTRPE does not overwrite the game`s files btw).
