    Default Rome Total Halo [Modification Early Preview] Update 10-21-10

    MOD LOG: Mod Completion Percentage: 8%
    UPDATES: Added another unit! BETA and a forum being plotted.
    UPDATES: Archer unit for the UNSC is at about 60% completion.
    UPDATES: UI pics for both completed units have been made, shown in the pic below.
    Next Addition: New units, faction banners.

    imo, if possible, the weapons should be changed to bows that have gun models, with maybe energy swords/grav hammers for melee troops? If you can make the weapons look like that, I have no idea how.

    It would be easier to make guns if you used M2TW though.

    I would have enjoyed doing this in M2TW more, mostly do to the fact I have a lot more experience in the modding department for that game, but my laptop can't really handle the large battles I enjoy, so I wouldn't really have fun making it

    As for the weaponry, I'm giving the swords a more Covenant look to them, more like the energy swords I guess, a better example is in the pic I posted, a lot more details went into that, but as for gravity hammers and other Halo weaponry, that might not happen.

    I just want to see how much I get done with the Basic Photoshop element, thanks for the reply though! Been a bit more slow around here than usual, and I've been here awhile

    If you can find a unit with 2h mace, or maybe with 2h axe, it shouldn't be hard to make a grav hammer. Though I have no experience in modding, so it might not.

    The mod looks cool though, I would help if I could.

    I could always use more suggestions for units and such

    As for the weapons, I'll experiment a lot more with some units.

    I am not a moderator, but I think a more suitable place for this thread would be in the "Mod Threads" section of the Eras forum. The units look very good though. Keep up the good work.

    I will once it gets to a suitable point to call a mod, I just thought that it would be kinda nice to get some comments in the most active and viewed place, so I can get a quick critique of my mod

    Will there be more than just humans? Various covenant races as their own factions would be cool, and maybe if one captures all home provinces of another, that faction would join them and they could eventually form the entire covenant.

    Though you would get more help in the mod section of the forum.

    I'm really going to start full production soon, I took a break today since I wasn't feeling all that great (ran a few at night, gotta keep in shape ), but going to work on it in a little, maybe work on a couple more units!

    I really appreciate the comments guys, expect a lot of good things coming!

    Cool, looking forward to seeing it.

    You should probably take the shields away though, doesn't really seem like halo having a giant shield
