    Hello everyone,

I wanted to export a localisation.loc file from my patch_en.pack file to my desktop.

But i wasn't able to open it after i exported it from pack file.....

Of course this loc file could be opened in Pack File Manager, but i don't know why i couldn't save the changes in this file after edit....i got crash in my PFM.

    Any ideas?

I would like to edit this localisation.loc file, save the changes and import it back to patch_en.pack, otherwise my new events that i added to events_tables and into one *.lua file will be without description!!

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hello everyone,

I would like to know, how i could open those *.loc files in Windows Vista OS after i unpacked it from patch_en.pack using Pack File Manager?

    Thanks in advance!

You have to edit them in the PFM (just select it and it shows up on the right) or export it as a TSV (after opening it in the PFM).

Yes, but how i could open later this TSV file?

It isn't a db table, it isn't a *.pack file or mod pack....

Editing existing rows is simple in *.loc files, but i want to create new rows ( it is impossible now - no save changes options ).

So, exporting it from patch_en.pack is the only possibility.

Tell me only please, how i could open this *.loc file in Windows Vista OS?

Then i would like to import this localisation.loc back to pack file.

    Thanks in advance!

    Nevermind, i figured it out!

I exported the loc file, i made changes and then i imported it back!

    No errors, problems, crashes....

Nevermind - i figured it out!!

Now this topic could be closed for my request.

    Sorry for bothering you guys!

BTW if you want to take the TSV step out, you can fix the no-save-option bug by clicking on something else in the left pane of PFM. The .loc file name should turn red and italicized. Then the save button will work.
