OT: What do YOU think will happen in the later books? - MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS

I personally think this:

-The Others will invade.
-Stannis will win after he gets the support of the North. Then everyone will start proclaiming loyalty to him for saving them.
-Daenaerys will conquer Westeros, but there will be Civil War between her and Stannis.
-Dorne and the Reach will swear loyalty to her.
-House Lannister will be obliterated.
-Bran Stark will go to Stannis and become Warden of the North. Stannis wins the north.
-The Boltons will be removed. Ramsay executed, and Roose made to swear allegance.
-Littlefinger will rule the Vale and declare war against the Iron Throne.
-Mayhaps Daenaerys will kill Varys and Peytr.
-The following houses will swear to Daenaerys: Velaryon, Bar Emmon, Celtigar, Farring, Rambton, and Sunglass. Aurane Waters will go back to Driftmark.

You have some interesting points you make - although I do not agree with all of them as entirely likly I or what I want.

My own predictions would be something alone the lines below. Please note that is not how I want things to happen in the most cases but how I think it will happen.

Daenerys looses two of her dragons before reaching Westeros and have a massive war/power struggle with Ironborn, magic-hating Maesters, Sons of the Harpy and Blackfyre descendents in the Golden Company in the east before she sails west

Jon will halt the Other invasion very far to the north and be instrumental in its destruction

Daenerys will become queen and re-take Westeros for the Targaryens

Tyrion will become the new lord of Casterly Rock

Littlefinger will be slain by Arya and Sansa will re-establish the Starks

The Lannisters and the Tyrells will constitude the main opposition to Daenerys return

After Daenerys victory the Starks and the Tullys will be returned to their former places of honor while the Freys and Boltons are either entirely eradicated or punished severely

Jon will outsmart and outfight Stannis and Melisandre so that they die fairly soon after Daenerys return along with Davos who goes down in death with his king

Daenerys will pardon most of the surviving Houses and characters from her father's rebellion but punish those who have committed injust deeds duriing the non-Targaryen years

Some nice predictions here. Here's mine, some are similar, some not so...

- Littlefinger will gain control of both the Vale of Arryn and the North.
- Dany will link up with either the Martells and/or the Ironborn.
- The Golden Company will also join her, headed by either Blackfyre descendents, Targaryen bastards, or Jon Connington (ex-hand, one of Rhaegar's closest friends, exiled after the Battle of the Bells).
- The Others will invade, Stannis will help fend them off, then turn his attention to Bolton/Littlefinger.
- Dany will invade at some point.
- The Others will be completely defeated, removing the need for the Night's Watch; Jon will be free from his vows.
- It will be discovered (somehow), that Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Dany, realising she has no heirs and is unable to have children, will legitimize him.
- Jon will rule the Seven Kingdoms, with Sam as his Hand

I seriously doubt that, the Tyrells were loyal untill the end to the Targaryen during their downfall..

Why would they? They've got one of their own as Queen of the Realm and had and most likly will have a MAJOR influence at court with a good position to overshadow even the weakened Lannisters. Why would they want to trade down to vassals again rather than getting a shot to rule the realm? Add to this that the Tyrells and Martells don't seem to be on very good terms and that Daenerys will likly come with an allied Dorne and I think you can see the problem.

The only reason I would possibly think could scare them down would be if Daenerys comes along with full-grown dragons and the Westerosi opponents have no idea whatsoever of how to take them down.

Well yes, there is no other reason the Golden Company would be going south other than to fight for Dany. Considering they were founded by Bittersteel.

Jon will probably be legitimized in the following books.

-Cersei will lose her trial (and hopefully Westeros will be rid of her
-Daenerys wont come back yet, remember that she wanted to try and rule whatever city she is in presently, then she will move on
-the Tyrells will take revenge on the Greyjoys, and will commit to a campaign to deal with them once and for all
-Arya is eventually going to come back to Westeros
-Bran will get even more high on his quest to find whatever he is trying to find
-Rickon is just going to be Rickon
-Littlefinger will become even more intriguing
-the Blackfish is going to be just plain awesome
-and if you read the exerpt Stannis will like Jon just like he likes Davos

Anyway

Tyrion will join Dany along with "the mage". They will probably help her train and control her dragons.
Jon will survive any attempt on his life and remain Lord Commander of the Nights watch, but Stannis is going to leave there. Creating new problems between the Nights Watch and the people that live behind it.
With help from the Vale the Starks especially Sansa will take Winterfell and rebuild it.
Eventually Bran will come back from his quest and claim the city for his own.
House Tyrell and Lannister will likely join in an alliance that see's Tommen's queen freed, while Cersei will likely be executed for her crimes.
A new war will break out between the armies of the King and the religious warrior sect that was created.
Kevan Lannister will probably die fighting against his son in that war. Just cause it would be epic...
The others will try to attack the wall and fail, but become such a mayor threat that people will have to pay attention.
Dany invades
Tommen is disposed from the throne.
Dorne marries into the new royal family.
Dany destroys the others with her dragons and dies in the process
New Civil war at the end of the books.

I think you guys are being either too optimistic or too predictable. Don't forget that what the series is about is sudden changes, deaths, revelations or simply nothing changing at all.
