    Default BUG - Over a million gold negative income per turn (on save games or fresh starts)

    I'm playing as Norway on the early campaign with SS6.3 installed and this http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=378648 fix compilation (it began with this fix compilation, which sorted the ctd at 51 turns problem but gave me a whooper in return!).

    I found this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...hlight=million and want to spank the guy for not saying WHAT worked, mucking around in text files is *not* something I should be dabbling with, I'm very good at ruining things.

    Those are my game settings.

    I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered to solve this problem, I am dying to play.

    To re-iterate, I get -1.3'ish million denarii on every turn in old games, fresh games despite my budget showing I should be making a few k in profits.

    Just a quick update, I began the game as a few other factions and the larger the faction is, the more negative gold it gets. Hopefully this is just some typo in one of the above text files (from that link I posted), but I really don't want to mess around there without some instructions from someone more clever than I with such.

    Edit: If said person could also point me to where/how I can change the several million gold negative my save game got from this bug, that would also be awesome <3

    Thats not a bug since you are using Byg. Click on the faction summary window to see a notification on where those extra k goes to every turn.

    Will do after the re-install I'm doing now, but surely byg doesn't *intend* you to lose several million denarii at turn 1 and every turn there after?

    Hmm not really, but you may lose up to 10k denari or more depending on your activities, in fact in one of my campaign, despite having an income of 13k a turn, my finances would stay at the negatives for several turns or more, especially during sieges with multiple armies. I remember reading a post with similar problems as yours. Seem like the guy managed to activate conflicting sub-mods with Byg. Try searching for it in Meneth's sub-mod thread.

    Been able to sort it by using the version of byg thats the bottom one (there are two, the top most one is responsible for this bug).

    Could you link the thread in question? I think we should try to gather as much information about this as possible for the next poor sod who has this issue.
